That beautiful top that you tore off and put aside can actually be propagated in water similar to how you would propagate an avocado pit.Then plant it once you have good root system and it will grow into a beautiful plant and eventually grow a pineapple!

Alternatively, u could just stick it in the ground or a pot and have at it. Best to leave some of the shoulder attached.

When I want fresh pineapple, knife or not, I always rely on an old tried & true method, the Randy “MACHO MAN” Savage “FLYING ELBOW”!!! The pineapple is laying WIDE OPEN right after that!!! OH YEAH!!!

This is very helpful if I end up somewhere and I just have a pineapple 🍍 and no knife 🔪!! Otherwise I would get so aggravated and end up either throwing it away ( only if I didn’t have a knife 🔪) or giving it away 😁🤓

We like to the top and plant it. If you live in warm area you can grow your own. Other wise you need could try hot house. Not sure about that one.

😂 I am standing near my son thinking it would be easier for him than using a knife. We just cleaned the kitchen and our counters are sterilized. I am getting a knife as well. Not bad if we were at the beach without a knife but I don't want to lose the valuable vitamins in the juice or make a mess. Plus, I don't want my son drinking from it either. God bless! Lynne 🍃💜✝️💜🍃
