I had a party to go. I checked the video before leaving for it. I tried it in the mirror. I looked so stupid. Yet once I got to the party I tried it out, and I had fun. Someone complimented me on my dancing. It worked!Thanks so much!

Dude, this is great! I especially liked what you had to say about keeping your center in place, and most importantly, WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR ARMS! I'm pretty loose in the hips and can bebop okay, but I never know what to do with my arms. Then I get self-conscious. That makes me stiffen up. Then I realize I'm stiff and I panic. Then I stop and run away before everyone starts pointing and laughing. Now I've got something! Thanks so much!!!

It's been a real frustration for me to be always uncomfortable dancing. I'm such a stiff dancer it's ridiculous. Still, after trying the fist move for a couple of days in a row it's getting better. Can't work out the bounce too well, but that's okay. After I get the first I'll try the others. Slow, but steady. Thanks for your work.

My uncle's getting married this weekend and while I'm excited for the ceremony and dinner, I'm dreading the ''celebration'' part. I should have expected it, but was just informed that it's going to be a huge dancing party. I don't know how to dance, was never able to, and I'm usually the person who sits and talks. I'd normally do that, but I have a fiancée this time who pretty much doesn't know anyone, and would very much like to dance. I don't know why I'm so bad at this because I'm talented when it comes to music, have good rythm and always win in Just Dance & co, only because I'm always on the beat. I sure hope I'm not going to look like a fool even with something as simple!

I don't quite get what you mean with the center of gravity part. I play the two different versions over and over again and it just looks like you're adding a lean in the "right" part.
@raym.778
@raym.778 6 жыл бұрын
Alexander Alford I think the difference is stepping with just your leg vs stepping with your entire body. If you put your whole body into it, it moves your center of gravity. If you just put your leg out, but keep it your torso straight you're not shifting the center. Try dancing the wrong way by moving your whole body... feel that tension in your legs? You're not supposed to feel that. That's the center of gravity being shifted away from your torso and to your legs.
