Got a dope indepth video today featuring a friend of mine, Cody Lefever. He's a very intelligent lifter totaling 1466lb @ 166lb. In this video he covers how to breathe, brace and develop total body tension correctly to lift more. IMO these three factors are absolutely critically to lifting a lot of weight. He breaks it all down in this video. If you enjoyed the video make sure to like it and if you want more Lefever, say "WE WANT THE FEVER" in the comment section. Subscribe to his channel here: kzfaq.info

It's amazing to know you are willing to let the smaller underrated channels speak out and be known. I've started my own now for a couple months. I'm learning and gaining experience as I go, and will soon grow. You're a great inspiration keep it up Omar.

One of the most relevant videos to many powerlifters out there. Incredibly in-depth. Bracing is probably the single-most overlooked factor for most of us powerlifters!

Awesome video man! I did deadlifts tonight,and after watching this video,i believe i see my main issue,the brace. The first rep always gets a good brace,but as i begin to rep,its not as tight, and my pulls get hard QUICKLY! Ive always thought it was my lockout,but now i see the real issue. Thanks for this vid man!!

this guy is awesome. very well spoken. really dig it! I'd love to see more. The breathing stuff is great! I am a singer and do similar breath exercises for that- but haven't thought to apply it to my lifting. I'm going to give it a shot, and it makes perfect sense that it would result in sturdier lifts and more overall power.

@nicolashamnett72218 жыл бұрын
This is money right here. I am so psyched to try this out tonight. It makes perfect sense; if you're body is as hard as a steel pipe throughout, then your lifts are naturally gonna improve because your nullifying weaknesses. You'll have better control of your body and really utilising the whole kinetic chain. Amazing stuff!!

It's so true. I trained Beltless for like two years and I just got a weight lifting belt a couple weeks ago and my lifts have all gone up just from being able to create more abdominal pressure now.

Wow just came home from the gym and watched this video and realized why I've been stuck with the same weight. I've been lifting for about a year now and I've been stuck at a 185 lbs bench press, 265 lbs deadlift, and a 185 lbs squat, I know it takes time but I'm sure if I apply all these techniques to properly do each lift I'll be able to increase each lift for about 10-20 more pounds soon. I'm currently 167 lbs. Thank you Cody and Omar great video! I would like to see a more in depth of each movement.
