I've left jobs when they let people like this go unchecked. I almost always manage. Up until the one job people who weren't the boss were taking me off the floor to discuss what I might be doing wrong under the advisement of someone not in such a position to do so.

Simple solution: I will never accept criticism from anyone I wouldn’t ask for advice.

If it persists, I just quit. Because I’ve been in a situation where it persisted, I stayed and I ended up lashing out in a way that got me fired from that job, I’ll save myself the drama and plan my exit.

How do you deal with coworkers who have adhd and make humming/tapping sounds constantly? It’s unbearable

I remember the most annoying coworker forgetting his coffee mug on my desk. Not wanting him to come back, I picked it up and went to the desk of another coworker pretending I needed something from him and left the mug. He saw it and didn't talk to me for a month. Then one day, the same annoying coworker started to avoid me like the plague. He'd see me and did an about face and rapidly walked away. I would later learn another coworker told him I was psychotic and got charged for attempted manslaughter but the charges were dropped when the guy I put into a 3 month coma woke up.

Yes! I did this today. "I am doing this exactly the way my boss told me to do it, even if it is not the way you do it"......enough said..lol

Yeah, but the whole point of their criticism is to piss you off. They’re not gonna care about you telling them that they’re gonna keep tormenting your life over and over I’ve literally never had a 9 to 5 in my life because of this reason. But I moved to a different state and now I’m forced to get an actual job and I’m terrified that I’m gonna work with miserable people. I know it’s just a projection and I’m creating false scenarios in my mind that have occurred yet. But past experience when I was younger working was pure hell because the people were so small minded. I spent my whole life traveling the world buying and selling real estate fulfilling my dreams, many beautiful have a successful. I’m happy in life. I’m here in the beautiful smoky mountains surrounded by lakes and waterfalls. I love it out here. But now I have to go look for a job God I pray that I work with happy people who do not try to destroyme
