I know this video is old but Menstrual cups or Modibodi pants are THE best things ever! I am only very new to that whole scene- I've never been at all comfortable with all this feminine business- but I tried the Juju cup and combined with Modibodi pants last month (Both are Australian products) and I am HOOKED!!! Such peace of mind and SO easy! Depending on your particular flow, you can leave the cup in ALL day, only needing to empty it when you start to sense it is full. You don't need to wash it inbetween inserts if you're nowhere near water- just rinse out at next convenience. There is no risk of TSS etc ZERO ongoing expense, no smell, and no carrying all that blood waste product in and out. I imagine in the bush you would be digging a little hole for toilet waste- so you can just empty it out and bury. :D

I'm so eager to go out and hike over night with just me and my Dog Gibs! I'm 20 and I've done nights out in the back yard in my tent and with my dogs for extra warmth! I loved it so much! One of My sister , Ehhh not so much hahaha! Also slepted in a barn few times for watching our Mare horses giving a foal! I'm so glad you made this video to remind me about our periods! I would have totally forgot if I went out and got my period durning a hike! It would have sucked so bad! Thank you for making these videos as I'm new to this and wanting to learn as MUCH AS Possible! About menstrual cups: I decided to try one before my hiking trip to Chile. I inserted it and ... could not take it out anymore, it got stuck. They took it out in a hospital the next day... with difficulty. I developed a severe bladder infection after that, because of the infection the thing caused inside. I am glad it did not happen during my hiking trip. No more cups for me ever!

I prefer menstrual cups when backpacking.

My menstrual cup is ideal when tramping. I can leave it in much longer than a tampon, and there is no waste to carry out.
