Thank you for sharing your beautiful Christmas Tree decorating ! My husband died 17 years ago. I kept Christmas for a little while after but stopped . It has been about 12 years since I put up a tree. This year I decided I wanted to celebrate Christmas so last month I went out with my sister and bought a modest tree with a lot of prelit lights. I moved some furniture around in the living room today to find the best spot for it. I am longing to be happy again and I feel I will so I am doing what I can to make it happen. Because most of my grand children work shifts I am planning a Christmas Brunch and am looking forward to once again to the beautiful sounds of their voices and their beautiful faces ... Truly ... we will fear not for behold good tidings of great joy has been declared to us ... for unto us a Child is born. Peace on Earth , goodwill to men.

I love Victorian, I love your house, even without the decorations for the holidays. You have a unique style… since my husband died I don’t do any Christmas decorations except for the door but that’s OK and maybe some candles for the windows. Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing.

It's beautiful. I am a fan of the more traditional look on a tree, which is what I grew up with in the '50s and '60s as a kid to teenager. I especially love the use of the hydrangeas and floral/green picks for the tree topper - not too over the top and doesn't overwhelm the tree but strikes just the right vibe and especially the right dimension/balance for the look you were going for.

Just gorgeous! I simply adore classic, traditional, Victorian styles, and you nailed it! What a beautiful show stopper of a tree 🎄 I will be living vicariously through yours this season, as I’m having unexpected home repairs this month and there isn’t a single room in my house that isn’t inside out. It’s not likely all will be done in time for Christmas, so I doubt I’ll be able to get my own Victorian style tree up this year for the first time in over 25 years. I keep telling myself it’s ok and that it is not the true meaning of Christmas; but I know I’m going to miss it and all of my decorating and feel like something is missing😔 Please keep sharing all of your holiday decorations and inspiration. I’ll be ordering the tree candles for next year.

Amazing tree decorations. We only have a small home, so our main tree has anything and everything on it. However we have a small tree in our dining room which is food related and main bedroom is Disney, my Son’s room is red trucks. Xxx
