One of the most underrated detailing aspect in my opinion, having a perfectly bare bone clean windshield topped with a rain repellent product, in this case I used Gyeon Quick View one of the easiest, better performing car care product for windows. As most detailing product requires some type of preparation, in this full guide, review I go through every step while giving you options that fits your equipment, tools, time available. I am a firm believer in polishing glass for deep cleaning, the difference is so noticeable but harder to show on video so I hope you give it a try either by hand or machine, both works perfectly. Don't forget to clay bar the glass for decontamination purposes and use a panel prep like CARPRO eraser or Gyeon Prep both very reliable, pleasant product to use to get your windows ready to accept your protectant. Lastly when applying a water, rain repellent product make sure to do a thick layer, automotive glass is a porous material, you want to really fill it well.

Great vid. One extra tip. Use a warm damp towel. When removing QuickView. I've seen two videos mention warm. One was Gyeon's and another was some random guy.

Been using quick view, as you demonstrated, super simple to apply, no wiper chatter and no smearing as it wears off. I applied without polishing, lasted 6 months. Not worried about how much I use wipers, since it is so easy to reapply, no coating is going to last with wipers. Plus each re-application back to 100% performance, vs trying to keep a multi year coating working.

Fusso Coat for under $25 is hard to beat. Super easy to apply and lasts 12 months.

@Detailing_Dogma Yes, good point. Quickview would be very comparable, but I really have no need for the larger size for just 2 cars. Have you ever tried fusso's glass coat?

Glaco DX says to let cure for 5-10 mins, which is a massive time disparity. how do you guage when to start removing with a damp cloth? Is it cooler and higher humidity, leave for longer? Ive had 2 successes and 1 fail despite using the same method as you. Cheers

Really hard to tell what you're experiencing , I've never had a failed application on anything, DX and Quick View are sealant shouldn't be too much affected with conditions, just make sure it's applied over 10 degree Celsius. I just waited 5 minutes just instruction says, it hazes very quickly shouldn't be a problem, even with cleaning up the residues it's already rejecting my glass cleaner.

@@Detailing_Dogmathank you so much. Dug deeper into the Glaco DX website and quote 'under 10c avoid use'. 😂 Yeah, user error. Tried again when it was 11c and much much better. Ie the product works as intended. Thanks for your advice
