Lol... two days of 6 hours each playing defense! That'll do it to you. But they also had the best defense in the Nike EYBL the same year this was filmed, so maybe it was worth it.

Great video. It also would be really great to expand on this and go into "handling the handling" of the screener, particularly in situations like for instance if the off ball defender happens to hedge hard and the on ball defender gets over the top of the screen, etc. Thanks again for the great content.

You’re soft dude. This is what you do to get the most out of your players otherwise in games they just get abused when they play D and they don’t know why. You get minutes by playing good D.

Switching screens is when you have guys who have the same body types. If you get a big switching on a guard that big is going to get abused. If you go under the screen you’re gonna get lit up by a good shooter and if you try to go over then the screen will slow you down or you let pick and roll happen. Hedging is the best way to defend a screen but it’s not for lazy players.
