Tested the Air 4 in the garden for a few days. This is how I took it down and got it back in the very large bag.

Very helpful. I do it slightly differently. I fold the tent lengthways as in this video, but I fold it in half and then half again. The advantage is that the bottom of the groundsheet which may be dirty never touches the blue canvas so it helps to keep the tent clean. Also worth noting that the pump has two functions. You can use it to suck the air out of the tubes.

I have the very same tent and although I have only used it twice since buying it last year, its a great bit of kit. I was a little unsure about Airbeam technology, but I would like to assure any of your readers, its so easy and strong when fully inflated. The tubes are really strong and the chances of puncturing them is almost nil, they can be repaired easily or replaced if needs be for about £30. I have not experienced really high winds, but the fact that the beams will bend, unlike poles that will break, has to be an advantage. Thanks again for a review of a tent that should be considered by more campers.

Mine’s just been out in the garden to properly dry out after getting back from its second Purbeck Valley Folk Festival, this year with added porch. Really pleased with how easy it goes back in the bag when you know what you’re doing in comparison to my little Eurohike 250 which I used for two nights elsewhere first.

Just got this tent up in the garden for the first time, so very helpful before I take it down. Thanks!

You're welcome. It can be a little tricky at first but once you've done it a few times it'll be a piece of cake 🎂 I'm hoping to post an inflating video soon so stay tuned 😃

It's all about getting as much air out of the tent and the beams (by walking on them) as you can and roll it up once. Then unroll. Then place pump etc and roll again. I find it quite easy on my own. Found it hard at the beginning when I first got it though.

Great tent but damn Berghaus how much would cost doing that bag 2 inches longer?!
@BerghausCamper Жыл бұрын
It's all about how you roll it up. I put mine away last weekend and had so much room at the side of the bag

Should you fully or partially unzip the doors before packing away ???
@BerghausCamper2 ай бұрын
I usually partially unzip all doors which is adequate to get air out. Or you leave fully open. Totally your choice 😃

Thanks , just had a melt down at a campsite, bout to try again at home Have you tried the tent out in strong winds?
@BerghausCamper2 жыл бұрын
Yes. 70mph. Stood tall and strong above the pole tents on site. The airbeams are designed to bow a bit then pop back up. But they are immensely strong and sturdy. 😃

where did he put the pump?

I put the pump on the tent "sausage", and then rolled it up inside. It gives a good guide and helps keep it in shape
