How can I receive a British pension in Russia, when Citibank (pension office's bank) has stopped paying pensions in Russia? They are discriminating pensioners resident in Russia while they continue paying to the rest of the world.

Can you exchange rubles in ATMs? Like deposit euros directly there maybe?

U vant exchange rubles or withdraw euros from ATMs. Only rubles. But you can deposit the euros via bank to your Sberbank euro-account (easy to create in the app… if necessary)

@@IoannisV I recall that yes...but either way...the exchange rate in the banks is lower than in the money exchange offices I have shown and advised to use, so...depending on your need

I live in England, my girlfriend lives in Russia and has a Russian bank account, do you know ANY way I can send her money.i have tried every where but I can't find any way . normally their is always one who can help.thank you if you can help

Since i have been in the same situation i know that theres no good alternative for digital transfer, thats why guide videos about transferribg, exchanging and depositing videos as 1-2-3 are relevant , unfortubately. Otherwise I have used Paysend (i think its brotish?) but not working now

@@Igorinrussia thank you it's incredible to think nobody has found a way, Their must be hundreds of people what to send money to and from Russia but can't, I understand most banks and apps will give in to sanctions but that's when someone normally grabs a chance to make a way. Thank you for your help.

@@billgreen6217 Russians who left the country can exchange money for you. they need foreign money and do not need rubles. also USDT is work. if you need you will find a way

There's one easy solution Only those criteria have to be met: - ruSSian soldiers leave Ukraine and stop shelling UA - Putin is put through a court in Hague - RU signs a peace deal with UA - secession of few small republics would be nice since there are other nations under ruSSian occupation now - embargos are lifted - profit - you can do any kind of bank transfer you want

Just to be clear because I don't understand sanctions that well but it IS legal to help someone in Russia with financial aid, but the issue is HOW? To get it there. Is that correct?

British resident in Russia. British pension stopped since February 2023. Reason? Citibank (international pension offices account) refuses pension cash transaction to Russian accounts(even those not sanctioned). They continue to pay British pensioners throughout the world, but not to Russia. Pension department suggests get a bank account outside Russia, or get someone in UK to receive pension and transfer money to to my account (Unicredit bank). Does anybody have advice to resolve this problem?

Sounds horrible, but in line with how these companies behave. the advise sounds simila fitting r to any money transaction having to do with russia

That's just me, what about the the thousands that depended on international incomes, freelancers, employees of companies that depend on international trade, ordinary innocent individuals driven to poverty, homelessness and starvation if they can't get income. Are they the target of Biden's sanctions. Seems highly illegal to me. An international crime. My own country the UK, is just as bad
