I absolutely love this. I don’t have a lot of makeup. But I love the idea of an all in one palette. I hate digging in my makeup bag for the tubes.

actually if you dig the knife slightly into to the lilstick then pull, you gett out ALL of the product. 😊 (not to mention hiw satisfying it looks!)

Instead of a spoon in a spoon, I like melting the lipstick in an empty pan (I bought one of the MAC lip color palettes x6, scraped one out and sanitized it) and now that’s my go to for anything that requires heat. The pan is pretty much the same size as the sections of the lip insert so the final product looks absolutely perfect and if you want to remove or rearrange some later, the clean pour makes them easy to pop out whole. The only draw back to this method is that melted down, the lipstick fills two of the insert pans whereas if you do the “just smush it all in” method, you can get a whole lipstick in one

I pull out the entire lipstick from the tube and cut only the end part that was inside the tube and then i put the upper part back in the bullet .that way you can carry your lipstick too which looks clean 😁. Also the end part is just the right amount of lipstick needed to fill the wells of this custom pallet 😀,no overflow no wastage.🤩

Diana Rodriguez the one she has is on the Mac website the palette itself is 9$ and the thing that holds the lipstick is 4$. I know this is an old video but I wanted to comment anyway, did the melting part change the formula at all? I've seen people depot their lipsticks using no heat because apparently it changes the texture. did you notice any of that?

Bad idea. The formula changes after heating. I attempted this and now I'm regretting . This video is just soothing to the eyes..but it's a bad idea.

What's the point of depotting that many lipsticks? .When your out and need to touch up,you need to take that whole damn thing with. you lol. For me personally It will feel like applying a kid's makeup pallette just more expensive

Chutney depotting lipsticks like this is helpful for makeup artist who have to travel for clients. It helps save space in their kits and also, like she mentioned in the video, you can make your own customized colors if you want 😊 it’s also easier to carry one palette than a bunch of lipstick tubes!
