Get the vocabulary you need to describe personality in English. In both personal and professional situations, it’s not uncommon to have questions that explore your personality and characteristics. That means you’ll need the right vocabulary to describe personality - how you typically think, behave, and feel.
If you’ve ever felt unsure how to describe your unique qualities in an English conversation, a job interview, or even on your social media bio, you’re not alone.
Today you’re going to learn dynamic sentence starters, rich personality-focused vocabulary, and real-life examples to help you paint a vivid picture of your character.
By the end of this video, you'll not only have the words but also the confidence to say, 'This is me, and here's what I'm all about.'
Even better?
Everything you learn today can also be used to describe others as well. For example, if you’re describing your best friend or talking about who your colleagues are at work.

This video is really helpful. Unlike others material that focus on adjectives, it was also mentioned the sentence starter and qualifier that make it sounds more natural when we speak. I am a Chinese student who is still struggling to get a good grade in IELTS. Thanks Annemarie for your teaching

Thanks for using introvert as example. Felt ashamed when being described as an introvert. But now, I don't care anymore. What's important is my mental well-being

Hello Ms Annemarie, I am new to your channel. Speaking English and expressing myself in English is a weakness of mine. My vocabulary is limited, which is why I avoid joining any group of conversationalists. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I admire and enjoy the way you educate your viewers. You are an inspiration. Also, I would like to mention that I would describe myself as an introvert. Some people might think that I am a snob, but I would rather say that I am a shy kind of person. Being quiet and looking serious is my defense mechanism, and I guess I am pretty reserved most of the time. (I'm learning from you😍)

I'd say that when I was young I used to be very shy. I remember that I hated to be in a party. Some would say I'm pretry reserved because I don't like to talk very much bout myself. I gess I am very conversarionalist when it comes of politician. Finnaly, I always try to be a easygoing person making the other person whom I'm talk to, fiel absolutaly confortable and relax.
