Sooo helpful and interesting to see your process, tools you use, examples, tips & trix. Also learned some terminology like "glyphs". I have actually used them a few times, but didn't now the term. And (Type) Foundries was also a new term for me, now I will now what people are talking about if they use that word. I'm not making logos, but this was so good for any occasion when you want to choose a font for a project. Also very good knowledge to have if I will commission a logo at some point. Waiting for the next episode, and will be back to check things again in this episode!

I'm making a band logo, so I'm wondering if I should still do the stages from episode 1. Like you drew birds, but for the logo it's the name of the band. I'm a tad stuck on which part to start on bc the Band is the Product. The band Name is Roots, but in Spanish. I put together a mood board, and words etc. Any guidance people can offer would be great!

I use a lot of those "What font is this" kinda tools and in the beginning, when you get a hit, you think "amazing" Further down the road when you used them for like 20 times or more you end up with an average of 3 hits and 17 weird solutions (so one may wonder what the algorithm behind it is) Same with the Google f? plugin. - Often the font you are looking for is part of an image without you knowing it and you will end up with something weird as an answer. Nice but far from the holy grail !
