Very nicely done - this concept gets way too many people covering too much using too large of technical words and not enough simple easy to follow examples with only the minimum explanation needed. Great job!

Fantastic video! I rarely have trouble coming up with riffs, but struggle with how to develop them in ways that make musical sense feel satisfying. This framework for development is really helpful and something I've never come across in trying to learn composition. Thanks so much!

My pleasure! It used to be a huge issue for me as well. One of my biggest goals for this channel is to create and share content that I was never able to find when I first started out. I'm glad to know it's already helping people :)

Thank you for making these videos! Yours have been very concise and incredibly helpful at deconstructing the various elements of music theory. For an amateur like myself, a video dedicated to the Question Answer concept would be super useful. One focused on deconstructing the short piece you composed for this video and looking a bit more in depth into the harmony strings and the counter melody and remaining elements you chose to use would be great. Please keep up the good work, it's really, really well done. Hope you're safe 🤗

Great video. Shame the template is no longer here :( I'd love to see a follow-up video on harmony and how to choose the right chords to support the emotion of the piece, rather than just a harmonic structure video, which you've probably done!?

just tried the prevade tip on something i got stuck and it helped. v simple exercise to make things move forward, thank you :) . idk if I like songs to end in resolution, I feel it’s like in literature or film: providing a closed end feels like pre-modern times or something, while leaving an open end leaves me with more excitement, idk how this translates to music theory vocabulary... ending with a deconstructed question maybe?

Glad I could help, aghostina! And that's a good point. Not everyone likes to have a strong cadence at the end of their music. I want to cover that topic in the future, so keep an eye out for it :)
