Hi everyone, thanks so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video.
This video has been an attempt to try and help you all understand that through hard work, determination and studying the greats, you can unlock your own potential and apply their ways of thinking and their techniques to your own work, to do the best work you possibly can.
I'd really recommend purchasing (for only $5) JJay Berthume's Thematic Development Pamphlet, it's so useful for beginners and experts a like. Here it is: sellfy.com/jjb...
Also here is JJay's KZfaq channel which you should subscribe to, he has tons of great and useful content: / @jjberthume

Louie, I hugely enjoyed your guided tour of your process. I’m a beginning composer (albeit 70 years old) and truly appreciate hearing how your insights about the journey within the game environments led you to an evolution of your theme. Brilliant. Many thanks.

Thank you sir for the video. I just found out about your channel this morning and I have watched already most of the videos. I’m a beginner composer and have been desperately facing this lack of inspiration and new ideas.

Hi Louie, great content! What do you use to make those staves transparent and white. It is a much more beautiful way of presenting music notation as you get to see what the music evokes in the background layer. I would love how to know how to do that. Thanks in advance!

Hey! Thanks so much for watching. Sure, all i did was export the score as images (or you could convert a pdf score into pngs) applied an invert colour effect, then added the images to my video editor and remove the remaining black background :)

Thanks very much! I use a mixture of Logic, Ableton, Cubase and notional software such as Dorico and Sibelius + protools for recording live sometimes. For the tracks in this video, and most of my orchestral tracks I use Logic :)

@@petertremblay3725 Often true, but not always the case. I think there is a cult market for most alternative approaches to gaming. I don't believe the intention of the developer is to sell millions of copies as much as it is to express his own passion for the genre of game he's making and share with like minded people, which I applaud him for, to be honest.
