Hello viewers.Today I have a quick trick on how to diagnose why your ford anti theft system is not working properly.If your not sure the theft system is the reason why your vehicle won’t start I recommend checking out my previous video where I go into more detail on how to tell if the theft system is why your vehicle won’t start.Keep in mind there are many different anti theft codes.I recommend looking up your specific code.I hope this helped and thanks for watching.

My 2006 F150 Triton has this issue with Pats intermittently. Had new key made ($255) programmed (even reprogrammed even a couple of times) but still intermittent, code 1333. Both original key and new key do the same Replaced fuse which looked corroded no help. Could it be transponder, PCM? Even thinking bad ground somewhere? Starter replaced recently, battery, altenator all good. Thanks for any suggestions... desperate.

@@papiestguy34 Not yet but now suspecting something to do with moisture. I live in Central, FL summers very hot, I was leaving my window just slightly cracked to allow heat escape. Several weeks back we had steady heavy rains, that's when it was acting up continually. A friend came out to check relays and grounds, everything seemed okay but before he could check the transceiver more rain. The last time it acted up, I noticed moisture on inside of the windshield. So now I close the window tightly. It's been starting up with no problem since. I turn on defroster for a bit (heat) now for a bit when it's humid. Hopefully that was the problem. Still high anxiety whenever I get in the truck still.

My Nissan Frontier blinks but when I lock the door it stops blinking but is still showing a red car. And cranks up. My truck is shot and if it locks me out again, I'm going to fill it full of lead. They say you Can't kill a Nissan. That's why they run a long time. 👀

I have a 94 explorer with the antitheft light blinking it cranks but wont start. it just started doing it out of the blue its a great low mile rig but its useless now

Do you have a link to a place to find the codes? My escape blinks 1 time followed by 4 blinks and can't find the code list anywhere

I have a 2003 crown Vic. I pulled the anti theft fuse and now can’t start the car. I don’t even notice any blinking codes from the light near the fuses

The theft light is controlled by the Pats Module.When the fuse is pulled the theft light won’t come on at all because the module itself controls the theft light.

@@darklord2184 I put the fuse back in right after and it won’t start seems like I tried everything and looked at relays and fuses

@@TysonD916 Does your Crown Vic have a digital odometer?If the theft system is the issue then the odometer will not show the mileage.

@@TysonD916 I checked out the two videos you made.Since the security light was blinking with the ignition off and then went out when you turned the key on that means your theft system is working correctly.
