Today, we'll take apart a nice, compact, and attractive knife from WE, the Kitefin.

I absolutely love this knife and I am super impressed with their customer service! I stripped a screw using the wrong sized bit and they sold me 2 entire hardware replacement kits including every single screw, washer, spacer, and bearing in the knife for $20 and shipped it to Denver in 2 weeks. They were incredibly professional and friendly throughout the process. Well done WE!

Nick, thanks again for your disassembly videos in general, and this one in particular. I received my Kitefin yesterday, and it’s action is greatly improved after disassembling, cleaning and lubing it. In fact, I’m always impressed with the improvement of any knife I clean and lube on my own. And I agree with you 100% that this a gem of a knife!

S35VN, titanium framelock flipper with carbon fiber inlays....... super unique, cant wait.

BTW, the pivot on the side with the "We logo" has a registration notch to keep it from spinning thus allowing the reassembly using only one T8 but also ensuring the logo stays aligned correctly. If this is not aligned when reassembling the knife, the We logo will stick out about a millimeter instead of being flush with the scale.

The full length swedge literally makes the knife!! WE has some impressive stuff. Minus the fail on the Vaquita... Which could have been a great blade had they made it a full useable size.

Tier 1 Gear & EDC Reviews this blade design resembles a half a dozen of Kershaws blades. Check out the Strobe. To me, WE is unoriginal in its designs. Overpriced too for Chinese stuff.

@@DavePotokar With all the millions of blades on the market you're bound to see resemblances in quite a few I'd imagine. But I'm a blade junkie through and through. If something is well built it has my attention.. That being said the Strobe is definitely on my radar. I love the long sweeping edge and the way they did the scales over the liners. Its pretty sexy lol. Tbh it will probably be one of my next purchases. Been wanting to pull the trigger on it ever since I seen the first review.
