Ahh the Glock, I have 10 of them, about to get another soon. I haven't made up my mind which one yet. If you're a Glock guy, you should look into GSSF. I’ve been a member of GSSF for two years now and I don’t remember seeing anything where they give $125 off a blue label dealer. When Im ready to pick up a Glock Ill have to look into it. Thanks for the heads up on the discount. I think my next purchase if I can get lucky would be an HK SP5. I’ve been looking around for a good price but Ive had no luck. I think the lowest price I saw was $3,600. I wish these stores weren’t price gouging. I’d hate to pay over 3k for it. Ugh.

@@UBRArsenal did you start out with a 1 year subscription & then renew? They should send you a pistol purchase coupon every year on your renewal date. I think I'm waiting on my fourth coupon maybe fifth...I don't remember, but I get another coupon every year in January.

Make sure to remove the magazine from the pistol. Additionally, it's a good idea to review the video to ensure no steps were missed.

Is it normal for my Glock to had a gap in it between the slide and the lower ?

Yes, it’s normal to have a small gap in between the slide and the grip. A good way to tell is if everything is functioning properly then you should be good. Make sure the slide actuates and the slide lock works, things like that. Hope this helps. 👍🏼

I would take it apart again and follow the video step by step to put it back together again. Hope this helps.

What do you do if something isn't letting the slide latch on to the grip?

I would make sure the recoil spring is installed correctly. Watch the part of the video where I show how to put everything back together and make sure you're doing exactly what I do. Let me know how you make out.

Hey Kevin, make sure the magazine is removed, there’s no ammo in the chamber and you have pulled the trigger. Once you have confirmed these things have been completed, the slide should come off if you followed the steps I showed in this video. Let me know how you make out.

@@UBRArsenal should’ve titled it how to clean and remove recoil spring and barrel then not how to “field strip”😂😂😂 I don’t know what you consider a field strip but removing two peices out of the gun and putting it back in is not a field strip I wouldn’t have watche if I knew what the video was ACTUALLY about

Maybe there’s some confusion here. I’m not sure what you consider to be a field strip but the definition of a field strip is “Disassembling a firearm without tools. When using tools, this is called a detail strip”. So it looks like the video was correctly named after all because I only show how to remove the recoil spring and barrel. Thanks and have a great day.
