Shondaaaa . I know a lot about credit I have a channel help teaching it myself . I’m always looking to learn more and you’ve taught me alot on this video . I appreciate the knowledge you give. Y’all she really know her shit . I use to work for Verizon recovery ( collection department) like 7 years ago that’s where I learned the laws behind credit and when I knew it was a game to disputing . we would do disputes on our downtime and had 30 days to respond lol sometimes we had too many and was backed up so some people would do it the whole time somedays . Collections call an account before it hits collections a “CO source” account and they will usually settle for 80% lowest of the debt ! After it hits collection agency it goes to 3 stages of different collections agency then becomes a sold account to a debt buyer . If it’s in the 1st to 3rd we could settle the lowest like 40% . Once it is sold debt to a debt buyer they will basically settle for anything 20% usually the lowest they allowed us to settle for. We would always have to get all accounts approved but was taught to basically to get as much money as possible. This can help y’all when settle y’all collections if disputing doesn’t work or before it hits your account . Thank you shonda just thought I’d share my Gems . You the Goat though . This is God! I realized on today I have a medical collection on my credit report that was actually PAID by my insurance but the company sent it to collections and kept stating the insurance didn’t pay it. My insurance company finally got the company to stop requesting the payment. However, they had already sent it to collections. It now still shows on my credit report with a balance owned. I decide to search KZfaq for accurate help on going about getting this collection removed and came across this live session. Thank you God!

I am watching on the replay while drinking coffee, taking notes, and crafting. I have a lot of collections between credit cards and medical. For medical the first step would be the HIPPA letters and not the reinvestigation letters correct? The reinvestigation letters are only for like credit card collections correct?

Hello, if you're disputing the DOLA of all 3 bureaus, do you have to send a copy of your complete credit report showing the different dates, or can you send copies of that section or page of the credit report?

I have a collection from Chase. Two credit bureaus have the incorrect amount listed and one of those has it listed as Synchrony Bank. What should I do about this? They actually have a lower amount than the actual debt I owe according to the letter I just received from Chase. Portfolio Recovery is who the debt was sold to but Chase is still trying to collect an amount below what I actually owe. I’m not sure if I should settle it for the lower amount, or dispute it since it’s wrong on a couple of the credit bureaus’ reports.

I’m trying to add some bling to that finger tho..my credit is already good😉
