I used the Target blanket for my upholster and it was great for the first few months of use! Super soft and cozy. But it became my cats favorite place to sleep and it has gotten so gross with cat hair and stuff stuck in the fabric. I think for a decorative chair the sherpa is great but for use and pets it may not stay in the best condition for long term use.

I have a fabric wet vac if I need to wash it! The dogs don’t really touch this chair, so I think I’m gonna be ok??? Time will tell!

I knowwwwwww. You get a ton of fabric for $25 if you go the blanket route. I know it’s technically “Sherpa” but it gives the same vibes. I hope you try it!

I have a brown suede chair just like this and curious what you do with it. You did not thrift the material? Okay bought some blankets. This came off really well and you handy with that stapler gun and sewing machine and putting in a zipper. The chair is beautiful and rate being a no doggy chair, I know easier said than done. What can you not do? Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.

The dogs are never on this chair! They’ve never even tried to sit on it, maybe because it swivels? Hoping it holds up well!
