I love how you always talk about the possible ways in which one can mess things up. It makes me feel less like I'm all thumbs when I get paint everywhere or parts of my DIY are less than perfect. The pink chairs are so pretty and this is a great tip for renters whose houses already come with furniture too! 😊

Hiya :) Just for future reference I thought I'd mention that you could have done an invisible seam on the white chair by folding the excess fabric under once you had cut off the excess and joing the two edges with a hidden stitch. It's really easy. Look up a tutorial. Cheers

Hermione's this was a brilliant idea! The chairs came out beautifully. I love the boucle chairs. I've reupholstered a couple of chairs that I bought from thrift stores. It's pretty easy.

A ladder stich is a super handy stich to know to create invisible stitches especially with a fluffy fabric!

I've had a scabby 2nd hand ikea poang that I've wanted to recover for ages but couldn't find the right material - this looks so satisfying to work with I might have to try it! 😍

There are classes in reupholstering. You might enjoy them. I went to an industrial design school and have lucky learned alot about these things there. It's a great skill to have!

They look fabulous! I recently reupholstered my two dining chairs. I think they look pretty good. Fabric used is a boho cream, black and bronze mud cloth. It's like wrapping presents.

I’m going to attempt something similar with an old desk chair that’s shaped like that! I wasn’t planning to use that type of fabric but since it’s SO forgiving I’m going to get that. Thanks for the video!

I have an old poof that's looking worse for wear- giving me inspo for covering it now. The cat would bloody love it if I picked a fluffy fabric like this too

I think for the first chair it would’ve looked nice if you crossed the excess fabric on the back. I think it would’ve given the chair a bit if a decorative detail.

I’m using blankets sheets old curtains all the time for upholstery projects. Much cheaper like from Fabric store. Very nice 👍 love the update

Hi pretty lady!🙋‍♀️ What a lovely idea! The chairs look so cozy and inviting. The lighter colors help to brighten the rooms as well. (Especially nice during the darker seasons of Autumn and Winter.) I have always loved the soft shades of pink. I'm so happy they are back in style. I really enjoy the splashes of pink you use in your home. I'm not usually a fan of those kinds of fabric (partially because they tend to be super flammable, so I'd be careful with those chairs if you ever get your fireplace working!), but they turned out lovely, it makes the rooms look so cozy!

Love the boucle material. I watched an American KZfaqr name Lone Fox he used pool noodles cut in half lengths ways and placed them around the back of the chair and then covered the whole seat.
