This is called a cluster reset and i appreciate saving me hours of looking for how to do it

Well i got 2001 too, basic..without a tach. pretty much worked in mine. Jus follow what he does, key in ignition, turn to I, turn on the light (not the headlights), press and hold the trip button, without letting it go, turn to II, lights off on off, let go the trip button and press it thrice. Should work.

My speedometer is malfunctioning. The needle keeps resting even if the car is moving and jumps to the higher speed up and low several times and comes to normal at the car speed. I paid the tech to take a look at it and diagnosed that the cluster needs to be replaced. I just followed the video and reset my clustur. I hope this fix my issue and my speedometer works

well, i'm no mechanic but it could be a number of things...maybe ur speed sensor is not working as it should or maybe a fuse is blown, check those and if u dont find the prob i'd suggest u take it to a mechanic shop.
