When you hit that correctly all the bottom guy can do is laugh about it because he got faked out.

Very nice breakdown. I never found a good nreakdown because it seems like a very momentum/reaction based shot

Im a fornwr D1 wrestler (never was the starter but still did all 5 years) and it It tooks me forever to get this down, you do have to be explosive but it's more about timing and that first step and I think too many people focus on the cool looking arm windmill, you need a good penetrating level change that youre fully committed to...the move feels more like shooting a high C or double with your head on the wrong side rather than a typical duck...once your in deep and your heads on the opposite side the flashy arm windmill almost happens naturally to avoid his underhook...I practice it by just shooting doubles with Mt head on the wrong side and having my partner sprawl...the only way to not get flattened is to quickly step up with your left leg and get your head on the correct side and then tje hard parts over

sic move breakdown of an actual superduck. So same distance to shoot from as the low single? That would be a good setup in a match hitting lots of low singles and then go to this move.

Great tutorial, best I've seen so far. How difficult is it to accomplish this technique if you are in a left leg lead stance and your opponent is in a right leg lead stance?
@yrn_glucose2 жыл бұрын
It’s all about timing really and just knowing when to go for this move. Doing a bad super duck will get you put on your back. I like to set it up with an ankle pick, especially if you want to get your opponent to switch stances. Ankle pick, separate, then super duck on the re-entry. Take a peek at some Kyle Dake or David Taylor highlights when they were in college. The footwork is really the key to scoring points on the feet

In the next period my son will start wrestling and I would like to ask you, since you have so much experience, what would be the 3 main things that make the difference between a good young athlete and an average one and what should we focus on at the beginning, more in order to create a solid base? Thanks a lot!

Countless hours have been wasted practicing super-ducks. Spend your time focusing on fundamentals over flash, it will pay off in the long run. 🦆
@daddystamkos59002 жыл бұрын
While that is true this is something that I have used every once and a while not for flash but to just get points when it’s a close match. Works so well if u know what ur doing

@liukang8523 күн бұрын
thanks. But how do you establish a threat for that? Nobody would shoot a double with that entry/from that distance right? Low single yes, but the entry is different and you don't usually sprawl to defend a low single (?) I know it works but I don't understand why due to the lack of a threat (since it's faking some threat)...

@trinityracer13402 жыл бұрын
I know it’s been a year but the opponent seems to be in a defensive square stance, although, i assume it’s better to duck on the nearest leg to prevent missing the move from getting overstretched
