hey been a parkour and free running athlete for about 7 years now another important note to factor in is that when you go up to the wall your initial step with your lead foot on the ground it will likely propel you up when your trying to go up a particularly high wall which means that your first wall run step will need to raise up accordingly.

first step would be to learn wallrun on a vertical wall instead of a slanted one, the technique changes drastically with addition of a slant. Your foot should be level with your waist not just the knee. You demonstrated a very low foot placement, it will most certainly slip down on a vertical wall. Using your hands to press down during a wallrun only works on relatively low walls. Also we start to push down with slightly bent elbows most of the time since it's easier to keep moving our chest and shoulders forward that way. I'm absolutely certain you know all these things since you are clearly a strong athlete with tons of experience so please stop misguiding people
