Slowly climb down until you're hanging with your hands. You should be able to carefully drop if you're about six feet or less from the ground (disclaimer, may not apply to everyone, use disgression). Until you're experienced enough to do.. what everyone else is suggesting lol.

Something that's worth mentioning: Not able to pull yourself up? Here are a few exercises! 1) Pull ups. There are many kinds, but for this focus on pulling yourself up with both palms facing towards the pull-up bar. 2) Push-ups. Again, many, many kinds. I would recommend 2 types though specifically. Military and knuckle. Military push ups are harder than normal ones, and your goal with them is get low and come back up with your elbows touching your ribs. Do these on your knees first to get used to them and learn correct form to avoid injury. Knuckle push-ups are exactly what they sound like: basic push-ups but with your hands curled up into fists! Do this on soft ground though so you don't scratch or crack your hands and face. 3) Pretty much any core exercises. When you try to pull yourself up, need to really engage your core. Doing sit ups or crunches daily is a great way to do this, even if it's just a bit. Pretty basic stuff, but don't try anything too fancy without consulting a proper instructor or doctor.

This may be a weird question but do you have any tips for getting down after you get up say a similar wall height as the one shown in the video? Would suck to get up there then get injured coming down.

I had a similar prob but I was able to find a pretty fine solution plop ur butt on the top of the wall or the roof of ur on a building. Put ur hands to the side of u and hop off slowing while holding on to the top. Then, u should be in a position where u r pretty much hanging off and holding by two hands. Then from there u can turn and let ur hands go. If the drop from even there is too high then u must've climbed something that was too high. So in that case u can just go down the way u came. That's what u do something high. For something shorter u can just sit ur butt down and hip right off. Or, if u feel comfortable, jump off and roll.

Besides training yourself to take impacts, you would want to lower the impact further by learning to lower yourself from on top of the wall into a hanging position, so you can drop from a lot lower

Great Wall run tutorial. I’ve been into parkour lately and just found this. It does feel really weird when you first do this. I did this in my room since I don’t have any access to a gym. Ah, I get it. You don't need to push upward with your foot because your foot against the wall forces your body to pivot upward, since your body has nowhere else to go, giving you that upward momentum you need. Plus, that initial jump gives you some of the momentum you need.
