While most street bikes only need their oil changed once every 3-5000 miles, your track bike may need to have the oil changed more often. I suggest changing your oil at least once every 5 trackdays, and I personally change my oil after every race. This is a very important maintenance item, and as you become familiar with the process it can become a rewarding and cost effective measure to keep your motorcycle healthy.
