HOW TO DO KAPALBHATI.
In this enlightening video, we delve deep into the transformative practice of Kapal Bhati, a dynamic yogic breathing technique that can rejuvenate your body and mind. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, Kapal Bhati offers incredible benefits for your overall well-being.
Let us see how to do this step-by-step:
- Sit comfortably in Padmasana or Sukhasana.
- Make sure your spine is erect and your shoulders are relaxed.
- Place your hands on your knees, palms facing upward.
- Take a few normal breaths with awareness to bring attention to your natural breath rhythm.
- Inhale and exhale sharply, forcefully and quickly. As you do so, keep your facial muscles relaxed. You will find that you are using the muscles of your throat. Avoid flaring your nostrils and try not to move your body too much.
- As you continue to take sharp breaths, the friction will create moderate sounds.
- Your breaths are short, sharp and forceful. See that they are equal in inhalation as well as exhalation.
- Taking 10 such breaths is one round. You can practice 3 to 5 rounds as a beginner.
- After completing, take a few deep, slow breaths, and sit quietly for a moment, observing the effects of the practice on your body and mind.

Mam, can u pls explain proper breathing. I was told when we inhale stomach should go outwards and for exhale inwards.but I m doing reverse order and struggling to do this way

Don't move too much. Little moving of stomach is inevitable if you exhale sharply.

Namaste, Kapalbhati is said to cause a significant increase in blood pressure. Those with high blood pressure must practice Kapalbhati under the supervision of a trained and experienced Yoga teacher.

I HOPE I CAN GET A REPLY... even though it's already 2 months but Pleeaaaassseee guide me... 2 days back, I started doing kapal bhati...it was fine...today i did it ...and my head felt dizzy for like 10 15 seconds (while sitting)...!!! Why? And most importantly should i continue or not!?😢 Bdw,Love your videos.❤

Consult a doctor or ayurvedic doctor. Since kapalbhati involves strong and explosive breathes, it might worsen your anxiety. Even tho the video said you don't have to stress your stomach rigorously but still. When i get anxiety attacks, my breathing gets heavy and heart beats faster. So instead of kapalbhati, pranayama of slow breathing works for me. Like anulom vilom or simple 4-7-8 breathing

What a hypocrisy - this mama was giving gyan in TRS podcast that Kapalbhati is not Pranayama, it's a hygiene and cleansing process. here also saying almost same. But see the title and thumbnail of video what it says. Same time not even showing how to do and title says step by step tutorial.
