1.whether the related keywords included in the broad keywords? whether questions are included in board keywords? or are they separate lists?

Hey there! In our KW Magic Tool (www.semrush.com/analytics/keywordmagic/), there are separate tabs for Broad Match, Phrase Match, Exact Match, and Related. You can also view only Questions (there are tabs named All and Questions on the left). Hope this helps - Katya

1. No. The related keywords are not included in the broad keywords. 2. Questions are included in broad keywords, you can filter them as you want. I been using SEMrush for over a year, it is a superb tool.

I find all informational keywords of competitors and bifurcate it in two categories. 1) Low competition 2) High Competition . If it's of low competition than create content around it else use skyscraper technique for high competition informational keywords to create content better than competitor have

Hello, I followed your advice. I used SEMrush to find a keyword with low difficulty, very low competition and it only had 1 SF - as per your video things were looking very promising! Then I Googled it and those in the top 10 have a Domain Authority/ Domain Score of 76-92 with social shares for the article going up to 14k and links to that article going up to 700 shares. Surely the competition number in SEMrush should have read more than 0.02? The sites in the SERPs show its a very competitive term. What have I misunderstood? Could you please help. Is it this instructional video, semrush's data or me getting it wrong? I tried again with other terms and it feels very redundant when I end up Googling the keyword and small website will never make the top 10 are the SERPs are being dominated by high authority sites. Why does it show as low kw difficulty and low comp? What do you think?

I been using SEMrush for over a year and here are tips I can share with you: 1. Dont blind trust KW difficulty. Metrics are about 80% accurate as they are calculated at a certain time frame while SEO is a perpetual process, so always manually check the SERP for important KW that you want to rank for. 2. In case SEMrush show low comp and low difficulty but the SERP tells another story, please check those authority sites. Do all of them target the KW you want to rank for or not? Perhaps, Google is seriously lacking useful content for that specific KW so it shows those authority sites instead. In other words, those sites rank mainly of their domain power. If you write a super useful and valuable content target that specific KW, chances are you would outrank those big sites. Hope this helps !

Hi Simon! Very sorry for the delayed response. The reason you're seeing a different SERP when googling is that Google personalizes the SERP for you and for any other users searching for the same keyword. If the KW in the tool is marked as "low-competition" but the snapshot of the SERP in the tool shows domains with high authority, that's a bug. However, as I can see, this is not your case. @@nghiala26 thanks for that. On 90% of my keyword research I think what you point out in cause #1 is true, thanks. Don't trust a tool. For the other #10 I have seen this. Google is just trying to fill in the blanks.

@@semrush The SERP in Google displays the same as what SEMRush displays. It might be a bug as you say, given it says low comp but the top 10 are all high domain authority sites.

At the end of the day...it's just a tool to help you eek out small wins. Think about it; everybody is using these "tools" to do the same thing for every single niche known to man. Practicing inbound marketing by building topic clusters is much more important.
