This video is to introduce a highly user-friendly auto-tuning program for Shimadzu LCMS systems - LCMS-80xx series, Shimadzu triple quadrupole mass spectrometers have equipped with the Auto-tuning program, which is extremely easy in operation, non-expert required and fully automatic operation for optimizing the ion-optical system for best performance and sensitivity. This video covers the importance of tuning for LCMS triple quadrupole system and when tuning should be carried out. In the video, it also provides a step-by-step demonstration on how to perform auto tuning for Shimadzu LCMS 80xx series. It includes maintenance of standard sample bottle, performing auto tuning for LCMS and interpreting auto tuning result. At the end of the video, it also discussed on some of the common issue encountered when performing tuning for LCMS and the possible action to take to resolve those issue.
