The trick is to know the correct steps and settings to use in photoshop, which is what I show you in this video. Good video. Can you please tell me if I need to stroke/choke the white underbase (make smaller) or leave it the same size as other colors when doing these type halftone prints. Thanks

Yes. You definitely need to choke the white underbase. Make a selection of all the colors and contract the selection by 3 or 4 pixels. Now the halftone dots will be smaller. Try expanding the Canvas size and see if that helps.

Hi, why u choose the darkest blue not the lightest blue after u halftone the layer, can i choose the lightest blue? And how to decide what is the best k value?

The color is just for preview. Yes, you can choose the lightest blue. That will give you a preview similar to the original. To decide the best k value, desaturate the artwork and see the k value. Then reduce the value by 15% to 20% to adjust for dot gain. It is best to keep the k values between 20% to 70% for halftones. Watch my other spot color with halftones videos. You will understand halftone separations better. Really nice question. Thanks!
