Hi Ladies🙋🏻💕 I’m super excited to share with you swatches and a “How to Step by Step” on the Black Hole Effect using some gorgeous 9D Cat Eye Gels from Born Pretty Store. There are currently 6 colours available in this new release from Born Pretty Store and I have 3 of the colours here. They come in a sealed 5ml pot. You will need to cure this for 30 seconds in an LED Lamp as it is a gel product and you will also need a magnet to make the different effects though you can wear them without using one too. It is suggested on the website to use a black base with these gels. This will enhance the magnetic effects. They can also be finished with a Glossy or a Matte Top Coat and look stunning either way.

I love nail art. I'm not a professional nail artist, just self taught. I like all things creative and find doing nail art designs a great tool for expressing this. And hey you get to carry your masterpiece around with to you to admire at anytime!
I use lots of different techniques to complete my looks and don't stick to one theme. I like switching it up for each mani. I like nail stamping the most but I also do decals, reverse/advanced stamping, lead-lighting, foils, water decal and double stamping. Designs with an Asian theme are my favourite even though I haven't done many myself I've admired other people's creations. I range my designs from florals, to geometric, to Aztec to Asian and everything in between!
I never claim originality, my ideas come from lots of different influences.

So...... I have been trying this technique for hours now, I'm obsessed! I'm watching your video as I practice and following your directios exactly. Your's look beautiful! Mine end up black. purplesage oh no hun! I hope you get yours to work too. Maybe keep your magnetics further away and do that swaying motion I did to help the circle form. Also go gently with it. Mine went totally black to start with but you will get a feel for it eventually. Good luck! 😘🙋🏻‍♀️💕💕

Sorry quick question...?.?? Let’s say I have NAVY-BLUE background and all I want is for a green or what ever other colour I choose of a magnetic cat eye to go on top, all I would want is for the cat eye bar to go up&down without loosing the blue background can that be accomplished.???

Wow super effect - I very rarely use black full nail gel (without splattering of mixed foil colours or tons of glitter) but this effect will really jazz the black up quickly! Thank you for experimenting 👍😷

Should ı use uv light, ı tried without ı couldn't make it dry

Yes you need a uv or led light to cure the gel polish. It won’t dry on its own. TFW 😁🙋🏻‍♀️💕

Hi Anna. I haven’t tried it on regular magnetic gel polish but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work.......you should be able to make the “ring” with the magnets the same way but the colours and depth may vary. There’s a new magnet it apparently that does it all for you! I wished I’d known about it. Hi. I have seen in the past a mount/stand that holds a magnet so that you hold the other one. But I’m not sure if it’s still available. 😁🙋🏻‍♀️💕

@@manishamnaildesigns thank you very much. I ordered some magnets today! I have asked this question on so many nail tutorials, and no one has answered. I know it's kind of off topic, and I apologize for that, but maybe you would be willing to help me? I am brand new to gel polishes. I got some for Xmas, and I had never ever used them before. But I have a few problems. #1 I don't know if it's me, or if the products I have are just not good quality, but it's so thick, I am having a hard time getting a thin coat on my nails, and I am getting polish all over my cuticles and side skin no matter how slow and careful I try not to. #2 my gel polish is peeling off all in one go only hours (12-24) after I apply it. I have watched many tutorials, I push my cuticles back, I buff the nail bed a bit to rough it up just a little, I got nail dehydrator and I use that a couple times, and then 1 thin as I can coat of base coat and cure 60 seconds. Then I put 1 thin as I can coat of color on and cure that 60 seconds. Then the second coat of color, I use the magnet I have, and when I am happy with the look I cure that for 60 seconds. Then last I put a thin as I can coat of clear top coat and cure for 60 seconds. They look awesome! But within hours, they Peel right off, AND my nail bed is always wet underneath the gel. My lamp is a uv/led 168 Watt nailgirls lamp. I am sorry. I know this is a long read, but please....what am I doing that's so wrong? I have tried searching on Google too to no avail. @@Raynestorm1968 hi. That’s a shame you’re having issues with polish peeling. The one thing I can think of because you mention the polish is still wet is that you need to cure each layer for longer. Especially this applies to black gel Polish as for some reason that can take longer than other colours to cure (I’m assuming you’re using it as a base colour for your magnet polish?) Every gel lamp is different, and some just need a bit longer to do the job. I don’t know if you have an older lamp either, but if it is older, then it may be getting weaker? I hope this helps. 😁🙋🏻‍♀️💕

hi Amber. The stirring stick I used is a cuticle pusher. You can purchase them online from eBay and AliExpress. Locally you can find them in the manicure section in department stores and in pharmacies too. I hope this is helpful 😁🙋🏻‍♀️💕

I keep trying this but my nails don’t look like this. Maybe my magnets aren’t strong enough or I just need to keep practicing. It’s frustrating because I love this look.

This is a gel polish so will have to be cured and will only be okay to apply over a gel base polish 😁🙋🏻‍♀️💕

hi hun. I’m not sure why it’s called 9D but these ones do quite often show more than one colour on the nail a bit like a chameleon look. Other than that they’re quite like other cat eye gel polishes. I hope this helps hun 😁🙋🏻‍♀️💕
