having the perfect faded OMBRE comes down to having the perfect application. your balayage or ombre should always have a SEAMLESS line going from dark color to light color. an ombre done well can grow out for LONG PERIODS of time without you having to refresh the color very often. the ombre can sometimes be a bigger job initially, but is definitely very low maintenance to upkeep.
learn how we do the perfect fade in our own hair. we only give and do the best for our clients so what we do on ourselves is what we do for you!

This isn't "how to do the PERFECT FADED OMBRE" it's how to retouch the perfect faded ombre. There's a difference.

A+ !!!! Awesome technique & very well outlined & executed! I've been a stylist most of my life & I still love watching other stylists and how they do their techniques ! There is so much to learn and a lot of great ways to get from point A to point B . You did a flawless service as well as presentation . Im so glad that at the end , you told the actual time it took from beginning to end. Some people don't realize the amount of work and time involved in doing a thorough yet beautiful job . Quality takes time and it's worth it in the end. I'm subscribing!

Just brilliant. The back combing is an excellent idea to help soften the blend. 6 hours is a long session but the maintenance is soooooo much less when you do a blended root. Having the patience to do it right is certainly worth it. Also great clear instructions.

The beautiful thing about the application/ formula is that it starts a little more opaque and fades over time. We did it another way before but found that it was so much more maintenance to keep the pink vibrant. Starting with it a little more opaque Akeem's the colour fresh longer. Also it gives the client a little variety in their colour as it fades.

i looove that color! my hair is natural & all i have left to conquer is dying it, then I'll be completely self-sufficient. Im not great at cutting my hair or selling it, but im happy with experimenting on my own hair as opposed to letting trying different stylists that don't really know what to do with natural hair. Sorry for the rant, great video! again, love that color! ❤

The colour is so pretty! I wanted to try doing this myself at home and found your video to be the most helpful. One silly question, I've seen people use conditioner with the pink colour and some use developer. Which one am I supposed to use and at what ratio? Thanks for the video 💕
@nvennhairbeauty
@nvennhairbeauty 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the love ❤ This is a very advanced color that we recommend getting a trained professional to do and not doing on your own. There are tons and tons of things you have to consider like color of your hair now, texture, health, objectives, product, etc. The list goes on and on. For your question conditioner vs. developer, that is dependent on the type of color you are using. There are permanent, demi permanent, semi-permanent, direct dyes, and wash out colors. The ratio and what you use would depend on the type of color and brand you use. Using a conditioner is likely to dilute a direct dye. I hope this helps! Best of luck with the color :)

I love how you mention to alternate the width of the mid section color (magenta) I've often thought about this. What do you find works best.... larger sections towards the nape of the neck working into less at the top of the head (towards the part) or do you alternate all over the head?
@nvennhairbeauty
@nvennhairbeauty 7 жыл бұрын
The section size would depend on the density of their hair. What we meant by alternating it is how much black vs magenta vs pink there is. For example, let's take the black. If one section there was an inch of black, maybe the next has 2 inches and then the next will have 1.5 inches. There's no exact rule, it's your creative vision. You don't want to do the same amount all over because it'll just look like a band rather then an blend

@nvennhairbeauty
@nvennhairbeauty 7 жыл бұрын
Hi Dove, thanks for watching our video! When it comes to pricing, it depends on what color you're coming from as well as any other pigments you may have in your hair. Check out our Behind the Chair feature for pricing: www.behindthechair.com/displayarticle.aspx?ID=5550&ITID=2 . All colors are charged based on the services being done and how much color is being used. For example, if you do full head lighten, full head color, foils, and haircut then you charge for each of those services. We do not charge special pricing for bundled services. I hope that helps! Let us know if you have more questions.

Thank you so much for the reply! I have been dying to do this for a year now but I haven't found anyone I trust. I didn't realize it was an all day thing until she said it in the video. Thank you again for all of the information.

Your welcome! It can definitely take a long time. The average client is here for about 5 hours when they are getting something like this done. Sometimes, we have clients that want it done in one day. We only say yes if their hair is healthy of course but those people are there for 10 hours

Puppy Powerpals if you do bleach your hair I really recomend using an argan oil conditioner after bc I was literally born with damaged hair and it helped really good (the argan oil), even after bleaching 😊
@crazyboonana
@crazyboonana 7 жыл бұрын
You can bleach your hair, and then mix a bit of hair repairing conditioner with the pink dye you put in to make your hair healthier and less damaged from the bleach. You can also use what Slytherin Queen said with oil/oil conditioner so your hair is not damaged.

Most of our clientele have natural black hair and go blonde. There hair is always healthy at the end. Break up going blonde over different sitting, find a stylist that makes healthy hair a priority, use great products between services and add keratin treatments to your lightener. We love adding continuum to our lightening services 👌

I got "Its a 10 - with keratin" hair conditioner and my hair is soooo soft after bleaching, I use it like once a week. Love to hear what other stylists think of it.

hello hello, sorry for the delay, i'm just noticing some missed messages now. you commented 2 years ago🙆‍♀️ better late than never! it's actually NOT click bait. it's just that it was our very first video and at the time, we didn't understand anything about lighting nor we were really trying to make a video. we just decided to post it for fun and here we are today! if you look at her hair in this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hN5_ZZdlzt7ZoIk.html you will notice that her hair color is the same! i respect your frustration though and understand where you are coming from💕 anyways, not sure if you ladies are interested but we do a monthly product giveaway (no purchase necessary). if you want to enter, you can do so at www.nvenn.com/giveaway 😘. next draw happens in 2 days!

After you bleach it is that a cream lightener that you should use to take the yellow away? I've seen other people do it but I don't know what they use.

You shouldnt fold your foils into little packets. It creats heat pockets and there is no here for the hair shaft to expand. I cringe every time I see fellow hairstylist do it!!!

Cruising with wheels ......dang.... calm down!!!!. lol man I'm so glad u know it all. what would we ever do without u. do u realize how rude ur comments Sound? there is a nicer way if sayin things... maybe suggest something like this..." hey ! I've found if u fold ur foils this way..(blah blah) that it won't create a heat pocket and it will allow the hair to expand properly .." try bein a little more courteous ....and I'm also a hairdresser and believe it or not... I do the same thing they do.... I have never had my clients hair burst into flames yet. and it's been over 20 years . lol but thanks for the advice and maybe I'll try it too.

Hi there, we are very careful when we backcomb. Not only have we taken care to brush the hair beforehand, we do not rip or tear- just softly push backwards. Thank you for watching our video! Let us know if you have any ideas for new videos and we'll do our best to record a video on your idea :) xoxo

Loved the video! The end result was very pretty. I'm wondering, how does the magenta dye (Schwarzkopf 9.98) look when it fades? Because I'm getting my hair dyed that color and I wanted to know if it will fade to that bleached yellow color, to lighter pink or what. My hair dresser said he will bleach to a level 8 first and then put this dye. Thank you
