A step forward to achieve your much wanted front split. If you are about to watch this video is because you've mastered the beginners version and are now ready to move to the next step.
To achieve a front split you need a good flexibility which I’ll help you improve safely.
MAKE SURE YOU'RE WARMED UP BEFORE DOING THE EXERCISES.

Your video is great, I am one inch from the split in both sides. At 64 years old the body is less flexible, but I can do.

Today I finally was able to do the split with this video, I've doing the middle split one every other day, and today I decided to do this one and I could finally do the split with my left leg in front, the other way I still can't, but still I'm really happy. Thanks for your video Alessia :)

These videos work btw for the people who are just watching without following along with this video. I stumbled across this video and decided to try it. I followed along both beginner and intermediate videos and after i was done i definitely saw a difference!!

Thank you so much I've been working on my splits for a year but I took a lot of time off and had to start all over. Your videos have helped me a lot. I've been doing beginners and intermediate. I am seeing a huge difference. My front leg went down and my hip are like 1 inch away from the ground. So thank you again 🙏🏼🤍

I so love/ hate your workouts 🤣. But seriously your workouts seem to be the only ones that work for me. You wouldn't believe how much you changed my life and especially my posture. So grateful I can workout with you. And today I was even able to do the split on one side. Almost gave up. Didn't think it would be possible at my age. So thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you and 1000 hugs and 🦋🦋🦋

On this day April 29 2020. I did my first split. Omg I am so happy. I'm 26 years old and you have really made my dreams come true. Thank you so much. I recommend this to everyone. And always always be consistent.

@@1ayover Hello so it took me about 30 days. I started last year but I wasn't consistent. The key is consistency. Start with her warm up video and then start her beginning part 1 and part 2. If you master that move on to intermediate and do the intermediate stretches until you have done your splits. Listen to your body don't over do it. Good luck! 🙌🏼🤍

This particular video is so amazing, I used this in my Intermediate Level Hatha Yoga for Flexibility class last week and everyone at the studio loved it! Coupled with Vinyasa Yoga Krama to warm the legs and upper body, then with the forward bening yoga postures it was just so complete and holistic. I love your channel, thank you! PS: I have been doing all your videos as part of my YogaDance personal workouts and I just love them

I just did this exercise and it wasn't easy. I'm hoping to get my splits by the end of this year. It will be an achievement for me cz for a long time I have been wanting to do splits. I will follow this video daily. Thanks for uploading.

Hi there!! Alexia my wife discovered yourself stretching routines a few days ago, she saved them for me to watch, I thought you were amazing, the way you teach, the way you preform your excises show the true art of stretching, but also strength side to, its ok being supple but if one not feeling strong it's a wast of time, would you say? Alexia if one wants to be able for side splits, & full front on splits, would one do front splits excises one day, then do side excises the next so we're not usei-Ing the same muscle groups tiring one's muscles out all together. Or would I do front splits excise one day . Full day rest from it, then side on splits the day after rest day , I've done my own head in here trying to write this lol. Hey!! Alexia if I could get a supple as Watson I'll be happy lol. Have a wonderful day. Oh I'm James by the way:)

Hey James, how nice of your wife finding you stretching exercises for you! And thank you so very much for the compliment! to answer your question, consistency is the key. The best way to achieve your split is to first of all be warm, therefore you can tackle the stretching exercises right after a workout session ( whatever you do gym or other). You can work on both splits at the same time, as you said there are different muscles groups involved in each front and side split. As long as you don't hurt yourself you can organise the work to best suit you. Because i don't know your fitness level neither i know what other workouts you do i can't give you specific details on how to organise things. For now do a little bit of both and listen to what your body says, if the day after you are super sore then give yourself a rest, if not, you can do a little bit more. Don't overdo it, one step at the time :) Ciao Alessia :)

Overdo stretching exercises is the worst.... Because then you have to take weeks off just to get rid of pain from simple walking and when you start doing stretching again you are way worse because of those weeks off... I had this condition a few times because of getting too excited about progress and now still can't do a split after months of training. But I m not going to stop exercising - just will be more careful! This channel is my discovery of the weekend, thank you for logical and nice exercises and good explanations! Most of those exercises I have seen in this channel are new to me even though I watched many different videos for stretching before... Creative and logical - very nice! Greetings xx

When I try to do the stretch at 8:11, my left sitz bone comes off the ground and I roll onto my right hip, which makes my right leg turn completely to the side. I think it's because my hips aren't open enough (I have very tight hips.) What else can I do to help open my hips and achieve this stretch?

Hi Angela, thank you for your question. Everyone is different and everyone needs different time to achieve their goal. It all depends on how many times you work on it, what kind of workouts you do and how your body reacts to all the different exercises. I always say do the exercises until they feel too comfortable and easy, from there you can step up to the next level and be challenged again. Faresti un video in cui spieghi come riuscire a roteare i fianchi ( per riuscire ad arrivare completamente a terra) specie nella spaccata frontale? Non so se mi son spiegata!

Ciao Blu , non sono sicura di aver capito bene quello che intendi, ma per riuscire a fare una spaccata come vedi ci vuole tempo e pazienza in modo che i muscoli e tendini si adattino al tipo di lavoro richiesto. Spesso l'estensione dei movimenti e' anche delimitata dal tipo di corpo che abbiamo. Intanto continua il tuo percorso e vedrai che arriverai al risultato voluto! Un Bacione Alessia
