My long-awaited video on how to do the hardest type of venn diagram question: three-way venn, sometimes called multiple overlapping sets or three overlapping sets. I will explain and showcase my custom formula for this, and give three examples of increasing difficulty, featuring venn diagrams from a table, wordy venn diagram questions and drawing a triple venn diagram.

@@tanishchecker6897 I don't think I am qualified enough to answer your question but what I am currently doing is, using the Magoosh vocabulary app. I use it every time I do anything other than studying. Also, I am practicing RCs a lot. Not to mention, I took a break from everything (social media, friends, movies, TV etc) Hope it helps.

Thanks for helping aspiring students, your videos are great and have been helping alot of us. Can you please help me understand this question's solution. Three table runners have a combined area of 200 square inches. By overlapping the runners to cover 80% of a table of area 175 square inches, the area that is covered by exactly two layers of runner is 24 square inches. What is the area of the table that is covered with three layers of runner?
@AadeshUpadhyay
@AadeshUpadhyay 2 жыл бұрын
First take the three runners have a combined area as (A+B+C)=200. Then take exactly 2 layers as D=24. They are asking for 3 layers right? Which is 2E. Most of the 3 overlapping sums have neither as 0 or they mention it. So here neither=0. Then total= 0.8(175)=140. Substitute in phillips formula Total=A+B+C-D-2E+Neither. 140=200-24-2E Solve for E. *the answer is=18*. Initially I was intimidated by the 80% of area mentioned in the question, but taking the question piece by piece can help you here!

Isn't the formula for three sets is n(A∪B∪C) = n(A) + n(B) + n(C) - n(A∩B) - n(B∩C) - n(C∩A) + n(A∩B∩C) + neither
