How long can the scratch coat sit outside before doing a stamped/carved coat. Looking to do this on the outside of our house foundation which is ICF. We are in upstate NY. Just wondering if I could do the scratch coat and wait 6 months - 1 year.

Awesome what you can do with that stuff! I want to turn my shower into a cave, can you tell me where to buy the pro wall mix you are using? (I'm in northern AZ)

Stone Edge Surfaces is not listed as a manufacturer at abcsupply.com supports. Do I have the wrong distributor you intended?

I see that you guys are based in Arizona... Do you hold any classes there. I am in Glendale and would like to know more.

Jasper...sorry I missed this post! Yes, in fact we have a class in Glendale at ABC Supply on September 11-18th. We are building out their showroom with all of our materials and you are welcome to come over as we will be there all week training as we do 10 to 12 different horizontal projects. another quick question: Will this stuff stick in overhead applications? (think cave, small area 3.5'x 4' no more than 2" thick) Do I need to use metal lath to give it added support?

Yes...it is used all the time in grotto's, caves, on beams, etc. Lath is always a good idea. If you watch the how to mix Pro Wall mix video, one of the tests you do to make sure it's ready to apply...is scooping it up in your hand and turning your hand over...if it does not fall off your hand, it's ready. ; )

Also...in water situations you would want to use our "white" mix and not the Gray. The White mix uses white Portland cement as an ingredient which is better for water area applications.
