This is a lifesaver!

The barrette that i used was a 4 inch “double” barrette from Goody brand, i probably got it at Walmart back in the day. Goody doesn’t seem to sell this size anymore. Look for one that is at least 3 inches long. The “double” style seems to hold up the weight of the hair better than the skinny ones. Another brand you can search for is scunci. They do not come bent, you will have to bend the bottom yourself but leave the top part the way it is because that lets the hair fall evenly and smoothly. Hope this helps!
