When i download both lspdfr it just pops up as a folder and wont do anytbing i tried moving everytbing you said over and it wont open now i thought it might be the version of game so i tried getting the downgrader for gta iv complete edition and now it says i gotta extract my files and it wont even do that so idk whats going on and why when i down load any of them it dont look like the video it just opens in my downloads folder

Thanks for tutorial. It's really helpful. But I want to know, If I downgrade my Steam copy of GTA IV to 1.0.8.0. version, doing all you did, can I still run it through the Steam? I don't care about mods, I just want to downgrade GTA IV because of radio stations and best performance.

Yeah, just not many mods. You should be able to run it with no problem.

can you try this on RGL version ? i think you could just paste the License key onto RGL launcher and download it from there. install these mods in that version and see if it works. Let me know Thanks

You will need to downgrade before using any mods.

If I remember correctly yes, but I would recommend 1.0.7.0.

A question, after downgrading where do i add my script mods...its not present in directory and adding a "scripts" file by myself and using it did not work.

@@FueledByTwins7340 what I meant was after the downgrading process, I added the script hook option and only 1 file is present in directory, scripthook.dll nothing else.

@@wqnzo I downgraded to 1.0.7.0, but you can downgrade to 1.0.8.0. Lcpdfr works better with 1.0.7.0

My screen just goes black when I open steam to play it on steam and when I try to run it through the actual files (launchgtaiv.exe) opens rockstar then just goes away
