Finally! A video that actually explains how to shade with coloured pencils, and not just a speed drawing that tells you nothing. Thank you, this was very helpful :D

I’m kind of a beginner with drawing, but when I follow the tutorials on this channel my drawings somehow turn out pretty good or really good. You explain the steps really well and your tutorials are easy to follow. My problem isn’t with the colored pencils, but it’s actually drawing it out before I color it, but I’m learning. Thank you for making such great videos. 😊

I GENUINELY don’t think you realise HOW GRATEFUL I AM TO YOU! I had kinda been scared of colour but after following a few of your tutorials I have gained a lot of confidence ❤

With your drawing tutorials i have finally began to work ( in a serious way ) with colored pencils. I'm so thankful because i never thought that i would be able to do some " amazing " things, that i dreamed of, with those. Thanks for sharing with us your talent and your passion! :) (sorry for my poor english, too. I'm studying it)

Serena Cantini Your English was perfect, and I agree. I followed the eye tutorial and somehow it turned out really good! It’s like magic lol because I’m just a beginner with drawing :)

fantastic drawing...this is the best justified illustration for derwent drawing among all the you tube videos i found.....derwent studio isn't every artists cup of tea.... its dull subtle ,hard and waxy with some unique colors and quite layer able.

Prasanna Kumar Dude, do you really think he has time to individually walk every viewer through the process? Are you from India by any chance? Many from that area expect people to hold their hand and baby them through every process on the internet.

I love watching your clips. ...I was about to give up . I have watched and followed other artists ( all extremely good) ...but I find often their process soooo intricate and complicated . I had a go at the pastel pepper. I had fun and enjoyed !!! ( Ok not brilliant).but I actually finished a piece with out feeling deflated and I had fun !!! I will follow the other exercises I was almost put off ...doing any more art So thank you

My biggest problem with the derwent studio pencils ( i have the 72 tin) is that i can never get the saturation of the colour. All my colors look washed out and i can't do any layering with them. After watching your video though, with the level of saturation i want, would you say the type of paper is a big factor in the amount to saturation you can bring out of the pencil?

You do end up with a stunning bird but this is far too fast for a student to try to follow along. It doesnt't help with the initial drawing of the bird at all and then it is so fast, you really can't effectively pause and try to achieve the same results. Perhaps this is for really advanced students?
@lindatilelli63886 жыл бұрын
Well if you're a student maybe you can look up slower and easy tutorials, and then work to more advanced stuff.
