Thank you for this tutorial. This is an awesome painting of this sweet baby. I have been trying to do a realistic color pencil portrait of my great granddaughter. I learned a lot. Hopefully my next attempt will be much better.

Beautiful work and description! Thank you for saying which cookies and also inserting some regular speed bits so we can see how you sketch. Just got a set of luminance and it's scary to use dark colors. The eyes etc look so dark against the white paper, but not at all all when finished. Very well done!
