The tip with shaping the mouth from a curved M is the most helpful tip I've received in respect to drawing mouths. Made my life so much better.

I mainly draw all digital now but I do a lot of rough sketching and the occasional traditional pencil drawing just so I have some originals for shows.

I don't know if I want to show my early work. Pretty scary stuff. lol. I would just say to practice as much as you can and find work that inspires you and places that draw out your creative side. I draw in my studio but I used to draw at coffee shops and libraries. Something about getting out and drawing helps the process. That and sketch throughout the day. I sketch on the back of everything! And don't only draw in one style. Practice a few. Experiment always!!! ;)

Thanks a lot Robert Marzullo! I just got back into drawing, I used to do it A LOT when I was younger. Anyways I drew all these faces in my sketchbook I was having trouble figuring out mouths for my character im making. Thanks again for the help! Also what tablet do you use, and program? I've never used one before but from your videos it looks reallllllly helpful lol.

This video was done using Manga Studio 5 Ex. A really great drawing and inking software. Another great one for specifically drawing is Sketchbook Pro. I use a Wacom Cintiq but I also have an Intuos 5 that I bounce back and forth on. Each have their strong points.
