Love your ideas . Belts make an outfit look polished in my humble opinion. The turtleneck worn inward is great especially if it’s a huge turtleneck . However, it looks classic either way. There’s no wrong or right way on this one😊. We definitely agree on the mint chocolate chip ice cream. 😊

Great ideas! (I am the same way, btw, with wearing things out!) Another tip I've gotten from other fashion KZfaqrs is to invest in "elevated" basics. So, like a white t-shirt or blouse with special detailing (a puff sleeve or what have you). I also wonder if sometimes boredom comes from the fact that maybe people aren't wearing things that flatter their body type in the first place - in which case, photographing yourself in different cuts of jeans can really help!

@@me4011 there's different shades of brown and grey too, some are cool toned, others warm. So if you pick a grey top with cool undertones, it should match with brown that has cool undertones :)

Excellent video and it’s interesting that when I researched painting the exterior of my house, using three colors really dressed up the look. Same is true of fashion. And, once I retired, I stopped wearing my jewelry and I recently went through my inventory, cleaned it, and added some pieces. Now I look more put together without being formal. Great fun and your suggestions are on point.

Great video! I have recently seen the flipping of the turtleneck & think it looks good. I was wondering how it feels on. I will give it a try. I am generally attracted to color, but have also been trying neutrals, but definitely uping the game (sometimes just neutrals without extra for me reads classic yes, but a little boring too). So, I have been mixing textures & tones (I do like to match & have been told by many the same thing hence, why I am open & trying. Thanks again. This video just inspired me to put something together for next week.

Really like the turtleneck inside out tip! I’ve never seen it until now or thought about it . I plan on trying it. Love the light caramel with the dark brown color combo as well as the red with the brown leather pants. Just got me a pair darker chocolate than yours. Love them! Love you Anna! You are right this is the “dead” of winter. I have upgraded some of my jeans to boot cut. I will probably add skinny straight. No to wide or baggy jeans. It is that time of year we are all tired of winter and crave sunshine and warm weather. I know i do. I get tired of jeans too. I am waiting for warmth to wear shorts and skirts and dresses. Mint chocolate chip is my fave! Also, yes to the amazing variety of Jean styles out now. I was so frustrated for the decade that skinny jeans were like the ONLY style. I had to figure out how to make that work. I recently got a pair of flares, remembering how flattering those were in college, and I’m loving having those flares again. I am so happy for the change, I don’t even want boot cut (as cute as those are), just give me flares. 😂. I even managed to find what seemed impossible - straight leg jeans that flatter. That took work for my frame, but it’s so nice to rotate styles (keeping the skinny jeans too for their amazing wearability with cute winter snow boots).

I love leather and silk or leather and satin. Also leather and a high quality knit looks great as well. I always feel like I go fitted on the leather then voluminous with the top and it gets me compliments so I stay with it lol. I have thick calves so skinny straights still look skinny-jean on me. Having a hard time finding straight leg jeans that fall straight but aren't huge up top lol.

Mint and choc is my husbands fav too, he loves after eight... I am more the fruity type, orange is fantastic! Or lemon/lime! I agree, trying some nice accesoires or even mix and match. And with classy clothes, try a nice (longer) skirt or in the winter a dress with a cute (cropped) sweater and elegant boots are some nice tips too! I am not a fan of either brown or navy, but a classy color is wine red/burgundy or dark purple and combine that with black (what does not look good with black). And classy for me is also not over the top make up! Again you posted some great tips Anna!

Yesssss sometimes it is fun to go a bit over the top with some make up. But usually less is way prettier and classy. But again for something fancy you may pull out your over the top dress, got one with sequins and that is so much fun.

Oh see I'm styled and had no idea. I always wear whites, blacks, and blues but different, never the same solids; Taupe and white, especially off-white, love it. Now I've been turning my turtleneck inside out for years because the jewel looks better that way, even your earrings look better, and had no idea that it's a thing. Oh I must add too, there are winter sales everywhere, take advantage.
