I go through the steps on how to drive a stick shift in my ranger. This started as a school demonstration speech and had all the work done for a KZfaq video.

Who needs those driver's training courses when you can just watch Anthony's Adventures?? Well done.

This video is the embodiment of Ford Ranger. ripped seats, standard tranny, tricked out motor, and laptop on the dash for "special" events

That cleared things up for me. My dad had told me not to push the clutch in all the way when shifting because it would engage the transmission brake. I took his word for it but I didn't think it felt right so thanks for clearing it up.

never look at the gas pedals when your driving or dont look at your shifter when shifting

This video makes me miss my 94 Ford ranger soo bad, I had it manual and that thing was so fun to drive and it was my first car but oh my God was that clutch sensitive as hell, if you rose the pedal even a little bit off the floor like 1/32 off of it it would slam it into gear

I did too, my friends use to tease me about not driving manual, but after he got to drive an automatic, he stopped teasing me about not driving manual.

I’ve only drove a manual six speed for a few months before my wife had a fender bender in it. Then I learned how to drive manual semi truck which uses a double clutch, but I learned how to float or single clutch shift when necessary. Is there any differences to be aware of?

Can you stop in any gear? Also do you shift down the gears when slowing down?
@MeanDean62 Жыл бұрын
Nah a good crunch when throwing it from 5th to 6th will indicate proper slowing

I been taught you NEVER at any time let your foot off the clutch petal at any time, always think about it like your foot is duct taped to that clutch pedal
@justjaydin73933 ай бұрын
completely incorrect, you’ll burn the clutch out if you keep even a little pressure on the clutch at all times
