I had a couple laps at Mosport in one of the early converted cars (fellow club members car) when the series first came to North America, great racing. The requirement was to be a member of the FCA at the time and there was quite a difference in the driver skill level in the first years, weekend gentlemen racers against drivers driving in several different series. Each of the races was at a different track.

Nice video, cheaply priced Ferrari, but one point of correction: There are F355 Challenge cars that have road titles and at least one fully factory built 1997 F355 Challenge car that has a New Jersey Title from a Ferrari dealer. I'd say that is THE last Factory built challenge car that is road legal from a Ferrari dealer.

Awesome Like the Gated 6 Speed Save the Manual Transmission I know I miss the 6 Speed, the PDK or Automatic Paddle Shift is ok though have heard not to use the PDK because may cause transmission problems, & would be more expensive than a clutch replacement, and if the Battery Dies could always Push start, or in my case roll it down the driveway to the dealer, instead of waiting for the tow. Though, i can replace the battery, on my current Mustang the dealer would replace for as long as i own the car for free.

I love my 348TB (late 1992), very underrated and the most misunderstood car ever to leave the Ferrari factory..... The 348 to have is the Competizione, they made 50, they are nearly 200kg lighter than the standard car, they have the F119H engine which is higher compression, power up to 320hp, I think the gearbox ratios are different and they have a lower geared final drive I believe....I would just love one, but they are extrememly pricey.....Maybe one day you guys will have one of those pass through and you can do a video on that......Keep up the awesome work, I really like your videos, by all means make them a bit longer, don't hold back!!

FUN-FACT about "Challenge Cars" - most all of them have had body-damage. I have been to several Ferrari Challenge races - Ego + Speed + varying-degrees of driver-skill = CRASHES. Every race I've been-to had several Ferrari Challenge-car crashes, some involved catastrophic engine fires. Many cars left the track with damaged spoilers, doors, quarter-panels....lots of 'rubbing is racing' aficionados. These cars were CHEAP because most-all of them had multiple bodywork issues. ALL of them were rode-hard, put-away-wet machines.
