I tried flushing a PVC well and it didn't work. I then woke up and thought I could drive 1 1/4" PVC starting 5' down in early May since I was at water level. The water table was at 5.5' in corner of my property as a shallow 12' well was dug with backhoe decade earlier in same spot. It was failing in late summer so I drove 15' down with pvc and a 5' brady well screen, so 20' to the bottom. Drove with dumbell and plastic insert pipe in with 40 mins of pounding and glueing pipe about 2 hours total. I say it took 20 minutes in video, took longer. But it went fast. Secret was the dumbell...lucky it never broke and fell down the well. That was my fear. It was really just a guide for the dumbell. It was making good contact on top of pvc pipe being driven and was stable. I now have tons of water.. It quickly was 15gal/min just by flushing out brady screen with my 1 gal dewalt air compressor...also use that to clear the water lines in the winter.
