Huh. And here I was terrified during most games when transporting a relic via transport ship that it WOULD be destroyed if the ship sank.

You should do a playthrough of the community made Ismail campaign, it came out before the Mountain Royals DLC. One of the most challenging custom campaigns I've ever played

instead of using scenario triggers, could you use a fishing ship to build a fishtrap to block the tile?

Relic refuses to bow to your logic. Relic will never drown!

Yo, you're great at answering that important questions! ... but there are still more 11 What's the scan distance for the Relic? And also you didn't actually dty to pick the water Relic up, you can just have another Monk in Transport, which can unload if yiu delete some walls, bc I suspect that Monks have some picking up range, as they can pick up Relics through wall corners.

Ornlu, if you slow down the video, you can see that the relic goes on the water first before it goes to the land at 5:00

Love this deep dive, I remember trying stuff like this in much older versions of the game. Offtopic but I've always wanted to know what would happen in a diplomacy regicide game where all remaining players put their kings on one transport as allies and it gets deleted, as in who wins and who loses? So many times have I wanted to see this in T90 community games but never found it happening.

When all remaining Kings die at the same time, there will be no winner only losers. Did it once with a Siege Onager, was fun.

Imagine if the behaviour was civ-dependent and Ornlu shot himself in the foot by only testing with Slavs 1111 ...actually, that begs the question, do you think _anything_ works differently if using New World monks?

How many relics can fit inside a monastery? How many relics can fit inside a transport ship? And how many can be garrison in a castle?

10, as many as can be held by monks (relics cannot individually be in transports), and 20 monks holding relics

Ok, what if the whole map are just trees, there is one square with a monk+relic and a vilager (on the same square). What happens if you delete the monk?
