How to dry fresh basil

When you have some extra fresh basil dry it this way in the microwave. Crush and store it in a bottle.

I saw how important the "in increments" part was so i prepared 2 batches at a time and set my microwave to 6 minutes (3 minutes per batch) and just swapped them out every 30 s so i was able to flip them etc and declumo as needed as well. Worked great! Now just need to figure out how to store long term....

We do this as well in 3-4 30 second increments. Works like a charm!

I have to tell you I was a bit skeptical about drying the basil in the microwave!! Omg!! It worked great!! Can you do Thyme and parsley the same way??

You must have kept for a longer time continuously. Microwave for a minute, wait a bit and then repeat

What is basil in hindi. Where do we get it from?

Basil is Italian herb We don't use in Indian cooking. I don't think there is a Hindi name for it. It is from Tulasi family which is also known as Holy Basil. It is easily available these days in any super market as pasta has become so popular.
