Beautiful 😍 Only thing I would say is you should dyed the middle to ends of the hair for each section FIRST before putting the dye on your roots because putting this dye on the whole head without sectioning only putting dye in the middle to ends first is what caused your hair to be more of a bright red at the top other than the bottom, unless thats the look you were going for but again BEAUTIFUL 😍😍

@@daniellagaines.5063 bc of the heat coming from your scalp, your roots tend to process the dye quicker and lift much faster than the rest of ur hair. that’s why ur supposed to do ur ends after or else your roots end up really bright like in the vid (she’s still cute regardless tho) hope that helped!!

I loved how you set this video up! I’m considering dyeing mine. after you wrapped it the first time, did you wait 20 mins and rinse before the vinegar? Can’t wait for more videos!!

Nykera Livin Life thank you so much!❤️ So after I wrapped my color on first I did rinse out the color with regular water for 20 mins, and once the color was all out I then went in with the ACV rinse treatment.

Developer is still a damaging chemical...no u didnt use bleaching powder but u just followed the regular instructions on the color box...which requires a chemical to activate and deposit the color i.e. developer....nice job just kinda misleading to the young ppl watching who think there wont be any damage because damage can MOST DEFINITELY still occur😬 licensed hair specialist of 20 years here with plenty if coloring experience..ijs

Aydahly Mendoza I’m not 100% sure what the end results will turn out like, but from experience and my own hair knowledge I would say that it is still possible for you to dye your whole head this red. Now for highlights when the red color is applied to their current color now it may take on a lighter red tone than the rest of your hair

Did you add one dye at a time with developer each time or did you mix all the dye with developer ?

Lifewithrhii so I did one box of each dye into the bowl then I added the developer into the bowl, mix it. And once the dye in the bowl was gone I then added another box of each color into the bowl, mix the developer in and apply to my hair

Ruqia Abdirahman I didn’t use exact measurements when pouring the developer, I truly eyeballed it. But the brightness depends on which level of developer you choose to use. So the higher level of developer (30,40,50) the brighter the color

Malak S hey there love! With your natural hair grown out and your natural color being black is perfectly fine of dying. Using this dye will not cause any damage to your hair. This brand of dye was made for dark hair specifically so that you do not have to use bleach in order to achieve this color.

Did you have to use any protein filler to stop your hair from bleeding after every hair wash? Also, how did you avoid getting stains from laying down on your pillow or hair touching your shirts?

Johnson I didn’t use any protein fillers to stop my hair from bleeding, the most I did was do an Apple cider vinegar treatment to my hair to not make it bleed so much but I didn’t do it every wash. I also always wore a bonnet and scarf when I slept to avoid staining on my pillows, and I never got stains on my clothing

Darlene Lumantas so I really just eyeballed how much developer I put in the bowl, I put enough in to make a semi thick consistency. And the color that would be brighter is the Red. Magenta is more of a settled red. And for developer, the higher the number the more light the color is. So it truly depends on your hair texture and how much your hair can handle. I believe I used the 40 developer just so I could get a brighter color and I know that my hair could handle the intensity of the developer

Kolour Me Retro yes, so with color you are going to experience so dryness, but you have to put in a little more TLC. So conditioning your hair more often and really using a strong leave in helps a lot

CandiedHarts &Kake I actually only used two boxes of each color just to make sure it all was covered. But you don’t need 6 boxes but I got 6 just incase I ran out.

My color didn’t truly start to fade until like the 3rd month I had it in. I only washed my hair once a week when it was not in a protective style. Since I wore a lot of protective styles with my color it stayed in longer because I didn’t wash my hair that often. Plus I never touched up my color since the first installation.

I really wish people would stop saying dye without any bleach. This product definitely has bleach in it. You don't have to separately bleach your hair because the bleach is already in the product. Sooooo misleading.
