Will this work with a 1650 laptop gpu? I have some slight reservations about overclocking it, but if its safe and offers better frames it might be worth it. Main thing would be getting things like PCSX2 Nightly to preform a little better. Don't think I'm gonna be able to run RPCS3 on this cpu.

That application is crap in terms of overclocking a laptop, don't install it, it gives me a 45hz overclock, it made me wait 20 minutes, it didn't even unlock the bars below, tested on a legion 5 pro 3070ti

@@kilObit in the lenovo vantage software, it allows me to overclock it up to 150mhz and with msiafterburner up to 190mhz, the nvidia app is the same as the geforce experience in that overclock section, so it doesn't work

Honestly +45mhz is good. I waited 20 minutes and it gave +0 mhz for gpu and +0 mhz for vram. Tested on zephyrus m16 with rtx4090

overclocking through the nvidia app will always be your safest option, i have a 2060 as well and dont really see a need for overclocking but yes, for the most part its safe

if you have geforce experience , no need to download this app, enable the overlay and press alt+z, click performace and the auto-tuning option is avialable there

@@kilObit No, but the app is useless, it offers the same as ge force experience, no advanced features for undervolt, or fan control, heartless app!! Compare it with msi afterburner!!

for experts yeah msi afterburner maybe better, but this one is easy and safe to use, i can't call myself expert at oc so this is pretty good for me... and this is the first time i ever i oc my gpu😊. i don't usually tinker my hardware

@@kilObit There is no point in overclocking cards that are already stretched to the maximum at the factory. Msi afterburner has the same one-click overclocking option, but also has advanced features for power users. The point is that you can undervoltage the card to get lower temperatures and lower consumption, which you can't do with this nvidia application, nvapp is just like the previous garbage with a new name. On nvapp, the temp target does not work, try to put, for example, 65c and run some benchmarks.
