I followed all the instructions of the video, I downloaded the version of the Essential Mod that coincides with the mode I wanted to play with my friend. We checked in the mods folder and we had the same files and versions. Once we did all that we started minecraft, I created the world and I invited my friend, but while he was connecting to my world he was written: "The server is unreachable (ICE failed)". Does anyone know why?

to the new people you have to install the same version you picked the essential from if you picked 1.20.1 essential you have to install a mod that works for 1.20.1 then it will automatically work

Im not sure what works and what doesn't work outside of premium Minecraft when it comes to Essentials. A lot of ppl do say it only works for premium, but I will look into it

BetterMC has always given problems, I heard a theory that there is a function that disallows modded worlds 1.20+ but I'll get onto that

You're supposed to install the essentials mod file, and put that file into the rlcraft mod folder. The tutorial made that very clear I believe

The latest version of Better Minecraft has a couple of new modifications that prevent people from using Essentials, the only thing I could find were to delete Luna and FancyMenus but this seems to work only half the time.

There's an issue with the installation or compatibility of the mod yo used. Make sure the version of the game and the version of Essentials match

Yes, your menu looks different because of the mods. Is the essentials mod you downloaded the same version as the mod pack? And you're supposed to put that jar into the better minecraft mod folder

I explained it and it does matter because the one hosting will have the save file so if you want to continue the same world, you either have to share the world file after platying or the same person hosts it
