How to Easily Sketch a Portrait | A Beginners Guide

Follow along with MC as he takes you through how to easily sketch a portrait based off of reference. In this video, you will learn how to establish the foundation of the portrait using the Loomis method. Then you will learn how you can use the Asaro method to identify the different planes of the face. You will also learn how you can use rhythm lines from the Reilly method to structure the features of the face as well. The hope is that you walk away from this video with a much clearer understanding of how to sketch out portraits, whether they be for fun or for a client. Hey! I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. Outside of KZfaq the only thing I have is my Skillshare. There I have more formal classes for beginning to draw portraits and I have some classes on how to draw dog portraits as well. Skillshare is a subscription but I have a referral link in the description of this video so If you want to try it out you can get the first month for free, then if you want to continue your subscription then you pay. The propositions are slightly off, might be worth a recheck , it's sometimes easy to get caught up in detail and the pleasure of doing it.A nicely done drawing but not a good portrait.keep it up ,your on the right track.❤
